LOCAL MEDIA and ADVERTISING AGENCY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES...look below for a special FREE offer!

BROADCAST VOICEOVERS INCLUDING PRODUCTION ("V.I.P." RATE):

$150 per hour, billed in 20-minute increments ($50 minimum, local airing)

This hourly rate applies to ANY number of radio/TV spots or station "imaging" elements of ANY length, to be used locally, regionally, or nationally (only the minimum fees differ). This is Chuck McKibben's "buy-out" talent fee combined with FREE studio service, including royalty-free music and effects plus full editing and mixing, if desired (or, take the tracks unedited for your team to finish). A one-hour minimum ($150) applies to REGIONAL airing (3 or more major markets) or for use in New York, Chicago or Los Angeles; there's a two-hour minimum ($300) for NATIONAL broadcast. All additional billing beyond those minimums, whether local, regional or national, is in 20-minute increments at $150 per hour. (If Chuck McKibben is NOT included as talent on the session, the "straight studio fee" alone is $100 per hour, regardless of market usage.)

There is NO LIMIT on the number of pages or scripts that can be recorded within the time frame. Hourly "V.I.P." billing offers tremendous savings for efficient producers who send over carefully timed, accurately typed, thoroughly proofed copy! Example 1: Chuck voices 2 LOCAL :60 radio spots and creates both edited "dry" voice tracks within 20 minutes. Your cost per spot: $25. Example 2: Chuck voices 3 REGIONAL :30 TV tracks to air in New York, Boston and Philadelphia (with customized tags for each market), adds royalty-free music and creates all 3 final mixes within one hour. Your cost per spot: $50. Example 3: Chuck voices 4 NATIONAL :60 radio spots, adds royalty-free music and effects, and creates all 4 final mixes within two hours. Your cost per spot: just $75!

This is the very best way for even very small radio stations to add an exclusive "imaging" voice...for TV stations or cable systems to add a network-calibre "booth" announcer...for any station to attract "prestige" advertisers, such as financial institutions and luxury car dealerships, with their own dedicated national-quality commercial spokesman! (A blanket guarantee of local, regional or national exclusivity for any advertiser within a particular category is available for a reasonable yearly fee. Please inquire.)

Short audio productions are sent via the Web at no extra charge. Of course, we also have in-house ISDN for "live" sessions of any length; you are responsible for line charges. CDs and tapes, in small quantities, are included at no charge for materials; you pay only for the time needed to make "hard copies" and for shipping fees. We provide a service, not a product, and prefer to avoid billings for materials.

Chuck McKibben is also available in-person at your location in the greater New York area. A firm one-hour minumun applies, or two hours for national broadcast work. He'll also entertain serious national offers that involve union membership. (Chuck joined AFTRA in 1968, but let his membership lapse as so many clients, incuding national companies, offered him work on a non-union basis.)

NON-BROADCAST "V.I.P." RATE:

$150 per hour, billed in 20-minute increments ($50 minimum)

For all corporate, industrial, sales, promotion, training and educational videos, on-hold messages, CD-ROMs, etc., including website audio. There are no other minimums, so long as the material is not for broadcast. Includes Chuck McKibben's "buy-out" talent fee and studio, plus royalty-free music and effects, editing, mixing, etc. at your option. (Our straight "studio facility" rate is $100 per hour when Chuck McKibben is NOT at least one of the voices on your session.) Billing is determined by actual time spent recording copy to your satisfaction, not by final running time or by lines or pages of copy.

COPYWRITING (ALL MEDIA):

$100 per hour, billed in half-hour increments ($50 minimum)

In addition to his skills in the studio, Chuck McKibben's mastery of language and in-depth understanding of marketing have also made him an award-winning broadcast (and print) advertising copywriter. For example, American Express travel has used Chuck extensively over the past several years to write radio scripts plus national mailings and catalogs. (The company distributed 400,000 copies of the 2001 European Travel catalog, for which he supplied virtually all of the descriptive text.) Of course, as part of a "V.I.P." recording session, Chuck will help you "fine-tune" your copy, if you wish, at no additional charge.
